Cafe Zum Steinhof in Halberstadt

Can you say something negative? NO! The service was very friendly and the cake deserves 5 stars just like the "hot grandma". If you are in Halberstadt and want something different, you should visit Cafe Zum Steinhof. I had a ginger pineapple tart. And I've never eaten anything better made from these two ingredients! Thank you. We are happy to have found the café 👌

A very special café with the best and tastiest cakes you can imagine. A visit is a must when I'm in Halberstadt.

Fantastic atmosphere, like at grandma's in a cozy cottage. Clean, warm and delicious homemade pastries. The McDonald's revelation coffee is hiding. Climatic decor and the atmosphere is created by the sounds of the violin (from the loudspeaker)

A cafe in which you feel completely at ease! First of all, I would like to mention the absolutely delicious and especially homemade cakes .... awesome !!!! Since I have a few problems with preservatives, I can also confirm that they are not used here. The coffee was also tasty delicious (CANNOT understand previous reviews and we really drink a lot and only very good types of coffee) We find the prices very cheap and nowhere to be found in our home area (Spreewald). The atmosphere of the cafe (vintage style) corresponds to our taste and blends in harmoniously with the surroundings. We were particularly pleased that we were greeted not only warmly but like regulars on our second visit. These are the little things that set this cafe apart from the profit-oriented restaurants. We (married couple) can recommend this cafe with a clear conscience.

A very cozy cafe, also with a snack. Definitely try: the homemade cake. The terrace is open in the warm season. The cafe is beautifully embedded in a remarkable half-timbered ensemble.

Very pretty little quaint café with an interesting ambience (there is much to admire and in the middle bollert a small fish) There are: - a small but adequate menu, also with Halberstadt sausages and Harzer cuts - a good coffee offer, e.g. Irish Coffee - delicious homemade cakes and pies - wine, cocktails, whiskey ... The whole thing is served by a very nice owner quickly. With small children you can also go there well, because what is ready for playing and painting. And the prices are reasonable.

Rustic and comfortably furnished. There are several home-baked cakes to choose from. Even lactose-free milk was available! 1 piece of cake and a lactose-free milk coffee beat at 5 euros. Very friendly service. Parking is free between the cathedral square and the coffee. Highly recommended, but also well attended ... Thank you!
